FrontDeskAnswers ("we," "us") provides an AI-powered phone answering service for local businesses. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• From our business clients: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and business details (hours, services, menus, FAQs) needed to configure the answering service.
• From business owners and staff who opt in to SMS notifications: name, business name, mobile phone number, and a record of their SMS consent (date, time, and the consent language agreed to).
• From callers to our clients' phone lines: the caller's phone number, and the contents of the call (such as a reservation request, order, or question) so the business can serve them. Calls are transcribed to provide call summaries to the business. We do not currently send text messages to callers.
• From website visitors: only what you choose to send us (e.g., an email inquiry or the SMS opt-in form). We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use information

• To answer calls on behalf of our business clients and fulfill caller requests (bookings, orders, questions).
• To deliver operational notifications to business owners and staff — post-call summaries, callback alerts, and account/service notices — by SMS (only to those who have opted in) or by email.
• To improve the reliability and accuracy of the service.

SMS / text messaging

Our SMS program, FrontDeskAnswers Notifications, sends operational text messages only to business owners and authorized staff who opt in through our SMS opt-in form. Message frequency varies based on call volume. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time, or contact hello@frontdeskanswers.com.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any other information sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used solely to deliver the FrontDeskAnswers Notifications messages described above.

What we don't do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
• We do not use caller data for advertising.

Data retention & security

Call summaries and transcripts are retained for the business client's operational use and deleted upon the client's request or termination of service. SMS consent records are retained for as long as needed to document consent. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of SMS at any time, or reply HELP for help. Contact us to access or delete your information.
