FrontDeskAnswers ("we," "us") provides an AI-powered phone answering service for local businesses. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- From our business clients: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and business details (hours, services, menus, FAQs) needed to configure the answering service.
- From callers to our clients' phone lines: the caller's phone number, and the contents of the call (such as a reservation request, order, or question) so the business can serve them. Calls are transcribed to provide call summaries to the business.
- From website visitors: only what you choose to send us (e.g., an email inquiry). We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use information
- To answer calls on behalf of our business clients and fulfill caller requests (bookings, orders, questions).
- To deliver operational notifications — such as post-call summaries and appointment confirmations — by SMS or email, to recipients who have consented to receive them.
- To improve the reliability and accuracy of the service.
SMS / text messaging
SMS consent and phone numbers collected for text messaging are used solely to deliver the messages described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as required to deliver the messages (e.g., our telecommunications provider) or as required by law.
What we don't do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
- We do not use caller data for advertising.
Data retention & security
Call summaries and transcripts are retained for the business client's operational use and deleted upon the client's request or termination of service. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of SMS at any time. Contact us to access or delete your information.
